It is my honor to serve as the principal of Russell County Middle School, a place where the success and well-being of our students are at the heart of everything we do. At RCMS, we are fortunate to have an incredible faculty and staff who work tirelessly as a team to ensure continuous improvement and provide innovative instruction and guidance.

Our mission is to create a nurturing, learner-centered environment that prioritizes the academic and personal growth of every student. We believe that each child is unique and deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. To that end, we strive to foster a culture where every student feels a sense of belonging, has access to a trusted adult for support, and is encouraged to actively participate in one of our many extracurricular activities, including sports, academic teams, band, and clubs.

We are committed to providing a differentiated and rigorous curriculum that equips students for the demands and opportunities of the 21st century. We believe that strong partnerships among students, families, and the community are essential for maximizing student learning. Your support and involvement are vital as we work together to nurture not only academic achievement but also the character and responsibility needed for students to become contributing members of both our school and community.
