Principal's Message
Welcome to Russell County Middle School! It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of RCMS. Our school is filled with talented students, dedicated teachers and staff, and supportive families, and I am confident that the best is yet to come. My vision for RCMS is simple: to create a safe, supportive, student-centered environment where every student is challenged to grow, encouraged to discover their strengths, and empowered to reach their full potential. We will continue to focus on academic achievement and put students at the center of every decision we make.
I am proud to be a Laker and even more proud to serve the students, families, and staff of Russell County Middle School. I cannot wait to see the growth, accomplishments, friendships, and memories this school year will bring.

Russell County Schools has partnered with Adair County Schools to form a collaborative consortium that expands services for students and families served through the Migrant Education Program. Through this partnership, the districts will share resources and expertise to provide enhanced academic support and essential services for eligible migrant students and their families. The 2024-25 Assessment and Accountability scores for Russell County Schools are officially released to the public today. The district received scores in the core subjects as well as other factors such as school climate, safety, and graduation rate.
